Therefore Dermatica works with its very own dermatology team to deliver your very own science-backed personalised formula! Acne? Ageing skin? Hyperpigmentation? Rosacea? They can tailor your own vegan, cruelty-free formula to tacklet those issues. This is a subscription-based product that will be sent to your home without having to see a GP or even speak with anyone (in person or on phone - great for introverts like me). You can also check in with their team too.
How?
To begin your journey, simply answer a few questions regarding your skin type, concerns, goals and any medical issues on their website. You will also be then asked to upload a few photos of your face from different angles for their experts to have a look. The process was simple - it took me roughly 5 minutes and I was able to do it all via my iPhone. What's left is for their team to review your profile and your first ever tube will be sent via post. Mine was sent during the afternoon on a weekday and I received mine in the post within a short few days. It comes in a postable (depends on your letterbox of course) package along with a leaflet for instructions. I also had an email in my inbox for more advice and details of what is in the formula. It is also worth mentioing that the tube comes with a pump and everything can be recycled, too.
Once a certain amount of time has passed, i.e. a week before your next subscription, you will be sent an email to ask for progress updated and when you log into your account you will be able to upload some newer pictures to see the progress - this is particularly great for yourself to decide its worth but also to help the team to ensure the formula is working its magic and adapt if needed.
My Journey
My concern was hormonal and stress acne. The team put together a few hero ingridents to tackle those issues. My first impression is that the cream did not have any smell - which is fab. I do find that you may want to dot the products onto your forehead, cheeks and chin before applying as this light-weight product does absorb very quickly. So far I am liking this but I do think I will need more than a month to see the changes. The images on the top of the page are from day 1 where as the one in this section is from day 15 - as you can see it is definitely helping my skin to glow and clear up some spots.
