I never really used sheet masks - I hate sitting still for 15 minutes. I was thrilled to received the new Garnier Ampoule Sheet Masks - it only takes 5! 5 minutes that I can do!

What is an Ampoule (skincare)?
Ampoules are basically high concentration of active ingredients. They usually come in smaller bottles and are like boosters.
The sheet masks
The new sheet masks have a vegan formula on top of being cruelty-free. The tissue itself is also vegan. Just apply after your face cleanser, give it 5 minutes to work it’s magic, pop off, message the leftover onto your skin, and that is all - easy peasy!
There are 3 sheet masks within the collection:
Detox - 2% Niacinamide + Kale extract for combination skin, to rebalance and restore (green package);
Anti Fatigue - 1% Vitamin C + pineapple extract for dull and tired skin, to brighten and re-energise (yellow package);
Firm - 1% Hyaluronic Acid + watermelon extract for signs of ageing, to smooth and replump skin (red package).
First Impressions & Try On
I thought I’d go with Detox as my skin has been breaking out like crazy during the time of the month.
I like that the sheet mask wasn‘t drowning in serum. It isn’t too thick too so wouldn’t be an issue in the hot Summer. It has just enough for your face and not much left inside the package. Less waste!
The sheet mask actually stuck on really well, considered I was able to take the below selfies! So it means you can put it on before stepping in the shower and don’t have to lay still and wait around. There wasn’t a strong smell so I had no issue with it.
To help the serum sink in, I used the jade roller during and after taking the sheet mask off.
The serum sunk in and absorbed well after taking the mask off. I probably have picked the most difficult one to see the results - it’d be a lot easier to judge if my skin appeared brighter if I had used the pineapple one. Having taken the pictures at about 4pm, and that it is 9pm as I write this, I think it went alright! My skin isn’t greasy so that’s always a great sign for combination skin!
Final thoughts
I think this is great for skincare crises! Maybe one day you wake up and see that your skin looks dull, but need to get ready for work? Well, this is your answer. It fits and hugs my face well. Didn’t slide or move - well, it moved slightly as I smiled for the picture, but it’s not like you’d blog about this every day right?
