About Good Molecules

GM creates cruelty-free skincare products backed by science with an affordable price tag!

The eye gel

A cruelty-free eye gel with a vegan formula, with no added fragrance. Priced at USD 6 (£4.40) for 15ml.

Yerba Mate is originated from South America, a natural source of rich antioxidants and polyphenols to protect from UV light. It also contains hyaluronic acid, caffeine and acetyl tetrapeptide-5 - that is why this eye gel can help to revitalise and energise tired and puffy eyes.

What’s more, is that GM source their Yerba mate from a local organisation of farmers in Brazil who are committed to zero deforestation, pesticide-free farming and provides income to their local communities.

The artwork on packaging of the eye gel has been designed by a Brazilian artist too!

You can check out the facts about their source and the artwork from their packaging, pictured below:

First impressions

This is a light and fast absorbing eye gel. Not tacky, not greasy. No strong smell, you’d have to stuff it right by your nose to smell a hint of herb/ plant, assuming this is what Yerba mate smells like?

Love that you can use it underneath makeup as sometimes eye products, especially those contain oils, can reduce the longevity of your makeup look!

Plus, I have always loved GM has a no ‘BS attitude’ - you can literally see it’s ingredient list, the percentage used on the box, so you’ll know what you are using.

Oh and, if you are allergic to certain ingredient, surely that would be a life-saver, won’t it?

Ingredient list of GM Yerba mate eye gel

A little goes a long way, a small pea sized drop can probably do both eyes, so I am not worried about the size of the tube. At 15ml, I think it will last you a good while.

Priced at £4.40, I think this is sounds very encouraging already. Plus, this supports local farmers, which is a big bonus!
