Pixi Pretties 2021 is here! Every year, Pixi Beauty collaborates with some talented influencers in the beauty industry to co-create a fantastic collection of products. It is very fun and fresh to see what the creatives come up with. This year is of course no exceptions!
As always, Pixi By Petra designs easy-to-use and fuss-free cruelty free products. This year’s collaboration features 4 stunning palettes curated by 4 beauty gurus.
Cream Rouge Palette - £18
Co-created with IG/LouiseRoe, this multi-use palette contains 25 creamy shades that can used solo, mixed or layered for a customised look. Not just that, you can use it for your lips, or even cheeks! I love that its texture gives give a healthy flush of colour on your cheeks as it was designed to do so. It’ll be very interesting and fun to mix the shades, or rather, layer them, to create my own unique shade!
Shapeshifter Palette - £20
This is the most exciting collab of all, if I do say so myself. The brain behind this, IG/PromiseTamang, has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was about 15. I would finish school and watch her videos on YouTube! She is famous for creating optical illusions or transforming herself into another character. With this being a contour palette, isn’t this the most fitting product coming from her? These shades are truly flattering for all skin tones (and you can use on eyes too).
Mind Your Own Glow - £16
The 9-pan palette has a silky, soft mineral formula that is for your complexions, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use the shades as eyeshadow too! IG/MakeupByDenise designed this palette with such stunning shades that can be used solo, mixed or layered for a healthy, radiant glow. Just look at how stunning the shades are! I can see the palette being used for all skin tones as well.
Tones & Textures - £22
Matte, metallic, neutral, bright… this 25-pan highly pigmented eye palette has it all. I immediately get drawn to the blue/teal shades – such fun additions to an already versatile palette! Co-created by IG/Tina_Yong, this palette is all you need to go from day to night for your next holiday!
My thoughts
I love that this collection basically contains most of what you need on a daily basis and you can create looks for different occasions with all of the palettes – from day time, to a night out even! I will be keen to test the lip/blush palette to see its longevity as it isn’t practical to take the palette out for touch ups.
Pixi Beauty continues to set the bar high each year with their Pixi Pretties collaboration so the 2022 one will be one to watch too!
