Self-care everyday with Pixi Beauty Remedy Mask – Review

Who loves a fuss-free self-care routine? I was kindly sent the new Remedy Masks by Pixi Beauty and let me tell you why I think they are brill.

About the masks

As with all Pixi Beauty products, they are cruelty-free and paraben-free. They have a jelly-gel like texture that ‘wobble’ when you shake the tub. They feel light to medium weight when applied on skin.

To use, simply apply them on your face and leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse off.

Available in three ‘blends’ to target different concerns:

Rose: Made with botanical extracts that are kind for skin. Nourishes and smooths for softer skin. Restores and protects.

Milky: Hydrates and quenches thirsty skin with great ingredients like coconut, oat extract, chamomile and sea buckthorn.

Vitamin-C: Boosted with tantalising Citrus extracts, along with Ginseng, Green Tea and antioxidant-rich Ferulic Acid. Brightens and provides an energizing pick-me-up.

If you already own any products from these collections, then you would know how they smell like too! You can also use one mask on your T-zone, and another on the rest of your face to do a bit of ‘multi-masking’.

Check out the texture from my unboxing reel here.

Thoughts and tips

I love them. So easy to use and doesn’t take up much of your time. Can easily apply before you brush your teeth in the morning before popping into the shower. You can mix and match two different masks to save time, which is a big bonus. They feel gentle for skin which is what I love. I appreciate it isn’t the correct time of the year for saying this, but I can imagine these can be popped in your fridge for that cooling effect also.

The whole experience is just fun and I well and truly felt pampered and relaxed.

You can most definitely reuse the little spoon for your other face masks too, though it may have a shorter life span than a bamboo spoon as it can be bendy.

The only remark I’ll make is that I cannot seem to find out whether the tubs are recyclable. Not from the tub nor the website.
