Pixi Beauty – Rose Bodytreats Collection (Unboxing)

Did you know that Pixi Beauty does more than skincare and makeup? I was kindly gifted this luxurious set of Bodytreats today and let us unboxing it together!

The products are inside a stunning cotton backpack, which is perfect for when the weather gets warmer. Fun fact, I live a 3-minute walk from the beach. I look forward to packing my beach towel and sunscreen in it, soon, I hope!

Accompanying the backpack, you will find a postcard – 3 easy steps to nourished silky skin. Sounds easy enough!

Upon unzipping the backpack, you will find the products inside a plastic pouch – I love backpacks with multiple compartments, talk about being organised!

3-step system

Pixi Beauty has always been cruelty-free and these products are no exception. They are all infused with rose flower oil to keep your skin moisturised. More importantly, they’re paraben-free so they’re safer to use.

Step 1 – Rose Body Cleanser: To cleanse without drying out your skin. Also helps to soften as it is rich in flower and citrus oils. A creamy texture that is medium-weight and washes off easily. Despite having oil, it did not feel greasy, which is fab!

Step 2 – Rose Body Polish: Gently exfoliates and nourishes your skin. Leaves skin feeling silky smooth – gentle enough that you can use daily. This product reminds me a bit of their in-shower mask. Roughly the same texture – slightly thicker than gel but applies easily with a small drop of water, perhaps because this is a sugar scrub. Love that it contains lactic acid, which is such a hero ingredient to clarify skin! Rinses off easily as I did a little demo in the photos. As I had only realised that this needs to be left on for 1-2 minutes, I did not do so and couldn’t quickly test it.

Step 3 – Rose Body Balm: A light weight creamy moisturiser for your body to provide immediate and long-lasting moisture. Reminds me of their face balms which I think have similar texture. Feel so luxurious well applied but also absorb very quickly. I was thrilled to see that this also contains shea butter, again, a hero ingredient that works very hard to keep your skin soft!

My thoughts

They are such great treats. They all smell like flowers and fruit, but the scent is quite light. I hate in-your-face type of scents so these are perfect for me. As it’s the lockdown, I have been home 24-7 and the radiator really dried out my skin, so these came at a great time. The collection will surely be part of my self-care routine.

Whilst they are priced between £18 - £24 each (200ml), you can most certainly buy the travel set (£22 for 3 x 30ml) to try out before committing to the real deal.

P.S. the travel kit would make great birthday present, well, for all occasions really!

You can watch an unboxing video from my Instagram to see these in action!
