The Viral The Ordinary Toner Hacks, Tested and Loved! Toners Aren't Just For Your Face! - Ad

Let me show you a few skincare hacks that are not only viral but also tested and proven to work by yours truly long before they are Tik Tok famous! Make a note now so that you can be Summer-ready!

Disclaimer: If you have sensitive skin or simply any concerns, please make sure you speak with your doctor! These hacks are viral and work for me, but doesn't mean they are for everyone. I am not a medical professional. Always speak with your doctor or patch test first!

How will these viral The Ordinary Toner hacks work for me?

Same theory, really. Your face is your skin, your underarms, legs, scalp are your skin, too. So why can't you use it on those areas too?

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is such a cult-favourite for its affordable price (£14.90) to deliver amazing results. It is in fact the first ever AHA toner I’ve tried. It offers mild exfoliation to improve skin radiance and visible clarity.

Hack #1 - Underarms

Bad odour? Dull and dark skin? Hyperpigmentation? This may not solve it 100% but it is a pretty darn good hack to start with!

1. This works by reducing the pH level thus making bacteria harder to survive and feeling and smelling fresh. Some people use this to replace deodorant but I like to double-bank in day time for safety.

2. It lightens the area. Unfortunately if you have dark hair, like myself, you will know the pain and need! I think it doesn't have a 'woah it solves everything' factor but the results is most definitely visible after a few uses. This is the main reason I tried this hack and I was fairly impressed and will continue to do so.

3. It is said to help prevent in-grown hair. I am unsure about this as I do use body scrub regularly.

After shower/bath, or use when needed, add a few drops to a cotton pad (or on your hands) and pat onto your underarms. Be very careful if you have just shaved as it could sting.

Hack #2 - Legs

Exfoliate the skin - same reasons as the above to help prevent 'strawberry legs'. You may not wish to do this however if you have false tan as it will counter the effects.

Hack #3 - Scalp

I spent a lot of money on 'detox' products. This eliminates the need to have 1000 bottles of products in the bathroom. Simply apply this to your scalp, wait 10-15 minutes and wash off, followed by shampoo, conditioner and/or hair mask.

It instantly refreshes your scalp to remove extra product build-ups and dandruff. It truly does make my hair feels lighter.

Hack #4 - Heels

This is the only hack I haven't tried myself, as I have an office job and use body scrub often on my feet, thus eliminated the need to try this hack. However I can imagine that it will work for those who have cracked heels to smooth your feet for an at-home pedicure experience.
