Imagine this – a nice-smelling hot bath, a cup of tea (or cold glass of white), your favourite book, and some soothing music... perfect to unwind after a long day, isn’t it?
I was so excited when Verity, the owner of Vari Cosmetics got in touch for me to try her products. Vari Cosmetics is a small business based in England who creates handmade, eco-friendly, cruelty-free bath bombs for even the most sensitive skin. Majority of her products are blended with essential oils, which sound so relaxing!

Boss Babe Bath Bomb
First off, LOVE the name! This bath bomb is a blend of sweet orange, peppermint and rosemary essential oils. This was designed to uplift, improve concentration and energise. If you love a good bath in the morning, this will undoubtedly help you get into that boss babe mindset!
On cold sniff, this is very strong and I agree that it will definitely help you start the day right. It is not only uplifting, but also very refreshing. It smells like a ray of sunshine. At approx. 150g, this is generously-sized bath bomb and a good value for its price (£4.50).
Rhubie Plum Bath Bomb
Rhubarb, plum, need I say more?
This fruity, large, bath bomb is so mouth-watering that I wish I could eat it (but don’t)! It also has a strong scent throw at cold sniff, which you can smell it as soon as it’s out the bag. I have something similar in form of a wax melt bar so I definitely cannot wait to see how this scent is like as a bath bomb!
Trouble Bubble Truffle Scoop
Patchouli, sweet orange, lavender… honestly it sells itself!
This is the one product I was most excited to open. I love a good bubble bath. I also love all things aromatherapy! There is something about the smell of lavender oil. This small (30g) bubble scoop definitely packs a bunch – you may think, it is small, so it can’t be strong? Well, this smells just as strong as their large bath bombs. I love that this is SLS-free and it contains shea and cocoa butter. Talk about nourishing your skin and mind!
If you hate breaking up bubble bars (I am talking about those large L**h bubble bars that you can clearly have a couple goes of), this is for you.
Floral Slumber Room Mist
As its name suggests, this is a floral room mist that helps you drift off, with a blend of clary sage, lavender and roman chamomile essential oils.
I’d sprayed this when I was filming my unboxing video and I suddenly turned a bit of a Janice from Friends – oh, my, god! This is beautiful! Even my husband, who was sat near me, commented on how nice it smelled. The scent is true to its description and again, a lovely scent throw. However, I am a bit of a rebel (not), I use all room sprays onto my bedding, and I will be doing the same with this too.
Thoughts
So what do you think? I love supporting a small business and I so can’t wait to try them all – I think we all know what I am doing tonight! I definitely want to try the bubble scoop out tonight as it just smells soooo good – do watch this space for a full review going live on Instagram in the near future.
